Inadvertent Ingestion of Wire Bristles From a Grill Cleaning Brush: Radiologic Detection of Unsuspected Foreign Bodies

We're expecting summer here this weekend, and I'm sure many grills will be fired up.  Be careful with your use of wire brushes and try to clean off the grill grids before you put the food on.  Also remember your food safety rules.  Keep Hot food hot (over 140) and cold foods cold (below 40).  Don't cross contaminate your cutting boards. While we worry about heating up left overs hot enough for long enough, the big risk comes because we don't cool our food fast enough before storing. Read more on the wire bristles and have a great grilling season.
